Quiet, humble, meager

the way that Jesus was born into this world

Creating and curating this “A Quiet Hallelujah” collection involved a whole lot of contemplation. Our team thought long and hard about what this time of year represents, and how the historical events of Jesus’s arrival might impact the way that we honor this season. We thought about the quiet, humble, meager way that Jesus was born into this world, and we thought about how one single bright light in the darkness created the path forward for Jesus’s first visitors to discover him.

We then sought to create a visual way to represent these thoughts and feelings into some beautiful artwork that could not only evoke these feelings, but add rich beauty and depth to your home as well.

Inspired by the song "Winter Snow" by Audrey Assad and painted by artist Hannah Herrera, Winter Snow reminds us of the gentle, humble entry to earth that Jesus chose, much like an unassuming snowflake. Leaning intoAdvent

Jesus doesn't require anything fancy, so let's let go of the temptation to create something elaborate and just start there. I did a little bit of digging around to uncover the most common forms of celebrating advent, and I've rounded up a few ideas to create those quiet hallelujah moments this Christmas.

Remembering Your Light

Joyfully Said staff member Aidan encourages us to notice the light in our own lives that we may not see in our everyday.
